I just took a looong break.
All I have to say right now is that I'm still miffed about the Dancing with the Stars results.
Also I'm miffed with myself for stopping the "best dance / worst dance" posts that had video. Because it helped me reflect on what I had just watched.
Now the season is over, and Hines Ward is our champion. To be very honest: I am glad that he won. He really did deserve it. He was honestly one of my favorites.

Nail Polish Problem
I bought 3 new nail polishes in the past 2 days. Is that bad? Yes, because I have brittle nails, I only wear one color at a time, and I only like to do them once every week - week and a half. Mostly because it's time consuming, but also because I don't want to completely ruin my nails so I try to give them a break from polish remover.
Anyway, here's what I bought:
Anyway, here's what I bought:
Revlon "Plum Night"
I'm excited about this one. Hopefully it's not too shiny and also I hope you can tell that it's purple.
Revlon "Minted"
Because I've always wanted to try this color. I will probably do my nails today and try it out. Let's hope it looks really awesome on my nails.
Black Poppy (no name, but it's PINK!)
(photo belongs to this girl)
I love this color. I am going to paint it on my toes today for sure.
Happy Mother's Day, of course.
Also, yesterday was graduation. I think I will make a separate post about that. It won't be too long, but I figure I could post about something other than DWTS and nail polish and Disney World.

How annoyed am I?
So, I used to have this friend. She was awesome. We were actually best friends for quite a while. And now I have no idea who "she" is. I say that because she is now a "he".
She dated my sister, and actually didn't know we were sisters. When she arrived at my house, she said to me "Why are you here?" and I was like "... I live here?" It was actually quite funny. We were best friends in 11th grade. We were together basically every weekend, we had the same friends, and we had the best inside jokes.
Then college happened. I visited her twice the first year she was there. Then she transferred schools to UGA, and turned into a different person. The last time I saw "her" was in 2007 at a friend's birthday party. And now she has made the transformation into a male. She no longer has a girl's name, but a male's name instead, short hair, and I am sure is on the testosterone shots.
And we are no longer friends because "he" removed me from his life completely.
I guess we weren't such great friends after all. I'm not sure why this happened, but he never gave me the chance to try to accept him as a male and understand why he made this choice. And that's what makes me the most angry. I would have given him a chance. But I know he is not the same person I knew back in high school, and so maybe it's for the best.

Dancing with the Stars - Week 7
Well. Here we are at week 7.
And is it surprising that I was completely underwhelmed?
I'm not sure what was happening last night. Maybe it was the major headache that I had (and still have, unfortunately). Or maybe it was song choice, or costume choice. Or the fact that it was TWO HOURS last night. I'm not sure. But I was not impressed by anything more than Shirley Ballas shaking her body for America. Now that's patriotic. For America and for England. Represent!
I will still be choosing my three favorite dances from last night, but it will be hard because they weren't the best dances I've seen. Was anyone else just not thrilled by last night?
And since I wasn't particularly enamored by last night, I won't be saying much about the dances.

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas - Paso Doble to "Ghosts n Stuff" by DeadMau5
This was the only dance that I genuinely liked. I'm not sure why every time Mark choreographs, it's seen as "confusing". I saw Paso in this dance. I don't know why people didn't like it. Chelsea did a great job.
Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff - Quickstep to "Pencil Full of Lead" by Paolo Nutini
What a way to redeem himself. This was fantastic. They set up the story perfectly, and who can't love that ending!
Hines Ward and Kym Johnson - Tango to ... no one knows the title!
This was great. It felt a bit staggered... like I felt like my head was bobbing up and down with each dance step. But he had charisma and the dancing was spot-on. I'm glad he finally got a 10 this week, and not from the guest judge either!
Romeo had the worst dance of all time this week. It was the WORST dance out of all 6 contenders. The setting, outfits, and lack of PARTY in the Samba he did was just depressing. And to think he did so well the past couple weeks. I was a little sad.
Nothing to say for Kendra or Kirstie. Both of them should probably go home. I'm still rooting for Chelsea to win, but I'm scared that won't happen since no one seems to like Mark.
